Some projects leave an imprint on you long after they’re done—and The Elements Project is one of those for us.
This home belongs to a truly special couple who thought about everything. When they started dreaming up their forever home, they weren’t just thinking about what it would look like now—they were imagining what life would feel like in it twenty, thirty years from now. And that kind of foresight shaped every single decision along the way.
A Home That Grows with Its Owners, was our inspiration. From the beginning, they wanted to create a space that would serve them beautifully for years to come. That’s why you’ll find features like a residential elevator, seamlessly tucked into the design so that accessibility and style coexist naturally. This house was made to evolve alongside its owners—to stay functional, safe, and stunning no matter the season of life.

The name The Elements Project came easily—this home is a love letter to nature. Every detail celebrates the beauty of natural materials: the warm woods, the stone textures, the earthy tones that feel like an extension of the Ozarks landscape outside. One of our favorite pieces in the home is the custom marble sinks and countertops crafted by Phenix Marble Company out of Ash Grove, Missouri. It’s local, timeless, and honestly breathtaking. The stone itself contains fossilized sea creatures—you can actually see fish and starfish embedded right into it. It’s one of those details that stops you in your tracks every time you see it.

Another design highlight? The guest pod. It’s a fully independent space designed with so much heart and practicality. It could one day be a place for a caretaker, a cozy spot for visiting children or grandchildren, or just a peaceful retreat for guests. Every square foot has a “what if” answered in the most thoughtful way possible. Missouri weather can be unpredictable, so of course, a storm shelter was a must—but even that became something beautiful. Instead of a cold concrete room, they turned it into a theater space, proving that practicality doesn’t have to come at the expense of comfort or design.

Outside, the home’s brick driveway tells its own story. The bricks were salvaged from a historic street in St. Louis and repurposed right here—a beautiful nod to the past and a perfect example of this couple’s commitment to sustainability. That same care extended throughout the entire property, with drainage and erosion thoughtfully planned to preserve the land and protect the natural landscape they love so much.

Step out onto the veranda and you’re greeted with a view that feels like a deep breath—woods, a quiet creek, and the soft sound of trains in the distance. It’s one of those places that instantly slows time down.
This home is everything forever should feel like: warm, grounded, and deeply personal. It’s built to hold laughter, family, and generations of memories—and we have no doubt it will do just that.
We couldn’t be more honored to have been part of bringing their vision to life.
