Get Grounded
August 30, 2023
Looking forward to the future is a common human trait. We look forward to the next season, the next holiday, the next vacation. How do you see yourself in the coming months? How do you want to feel? Your home helps to define how you feel and how you are perceived by those around you. Have you ever considered how or what your home says about you? Choosing the colors you want to live with is truly an important decision. Finding inspiration from what you love helps to create your own personal style.
Architects, designers and influencers around the globe get inspired and help us to curate the spaces we live in. These professionals look at fashion, clothing and home, world events and global influences and forecast colors, styles and items that will make our homes more us. Let’s look into 2024 and see what we can expect. One professional in the color industry says:
“While the world feels full of uncertainty, colors excite the senses. From the first flowers of Spring to a Cyber Neon only found in the man-made world, 2024 will embrace color that gives us a hint of joy, nostalgia and hope.
This trend is driven by nature, advancements in sustainability, health and modern technologies. It is both familiar and unknown.” (quote from Leah Civiok of HMH Interiors)
I have compiled a list of colors that you will want to use in your home. Get a notepad because you’re going to want to run to the paint store and check them out.
