I Love everything HOME. From dig out to move in and every aspect in between, you can count me in. I thrive on a good challenge and love a great brainstorm session with caffeine and an oversized white board. My personal design style is very much a perfectly curated mixture of modern, coastal and transitional finishes. I love a bold contrast but am still a true sucker for a white on white room with floor to ceiling windows. I love movie nights with my littles, traveling with my husband, the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and designing in the 417. I am beyond proud of our amazing team of extremely talented people and eager to see how we can continue to grow.‍

I'm Lauren Adcock, a lifelong resident of the area, married to my highschool sweetheart and we have 3 wonderful children! When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family! We are the biggest homebodies I know but when we do leave the house we are usually watching one of my boys football games, taking weekend trips to the cabin, going to the zoo or SDC, and I love attending concerts! We enjoy traveling… usually not too far from home (queue the homebodies trend)! Although, I do love my beach time, you will find me in Florida at least once a year! I currently work for Chelsee Sowder Interior Design. I offer administrative services and I am Chelsee’s Lead Design Assistant. I love contemporary design, although my personal style is modern farmhouse/country. The best tip I can offer our clientele is to keep an open mind when working with our designers and to trust their expertise! They are all extremely talented and I enjoy watching their designs and ideas come together.

I studied fashion merchandising and art at MSU and have worked in home fashions, design, and decor for over 20 years. My husband, Eric, and I have 3 amazing kids who keep us very busy with their activities and also thoroughly entertained. When we're able to carve out some free time, we enjoy a good concert, ski trips to Colorado, floating down the Buffalo, and any beach vacation! I also love hosting gatherings at our house. The more the merrier! I like an eclectic mix of design—incorporating personal treasures and styles into current trends to form a cohesive and updated look that is beautiful, functional and authentic to the client. Deciding on the function of a space and how you want to feel in it is what I always want to know first. Also, from a decorating standpoint, I'm all about showcasing accessories that you love and what makes you happy—then building the design concept around that.

I've been married to my soul mate Tony for 42 years now. We have 1 handsome son Thomas and 2 amazing 8-year-old twin grandsons Samuel and Sawyer. We love to camp, fish, four-wheel, and dirt bike. After 20 years of being a Dental Asst. I retired and Chelsee gave me an opportunity to work at her then-boutique. After the boutique closed. She offered me a job at her Design business. I've been here for over a year. I've learned so much about designing from Chelsee and the team. What a blessing to come to work and love what you do every day!

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Interior Merchandising. Design is in my roots, my Dad currently at 81 is still remodeling homes and businesses and using his skills and traits that he passed down to me at a young age. Home design has always been a topic of conversation at our dining room table. I have a wonderful blended family with my husband Adam, we have 6 amazing kids ranging from 2 to 27 years old. We have one amazing grandson and one on the way. We enjoy the great outdoors together. We love hiking, watching Cardinals baseball games, The Chiefs football games and soccer games. We enjoy SDC and swimming in the pool. We love beach vacations the most and visiting family any chance we can! I love everything about design, My most favorite part is cultivating relationships with our clients and watching the homeowner's face when the project is complete and they love their new space. I believe it's important to create a very functional space for our clients that they love esthetically for many years to come. Whether your space is a minimal modern design or a very traditional or old world design with lots of layers it's important that the space is just as functional for the homeowner as it is beautiful.

I am Alumni from Iowa State with a degree in Psychology and HDFS but decided I wanted to go down a different career path, and it has been a great decision! I love cooking in steak competitions, spending time outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or going to the lake, and my favorite thing of all time, Chiefs football. I especially love getting to do all of this with my fiancé Brett and our families! When it comes to the design of a house, anything rustic or farmhouse always catches my eye! I am excited to work on a team to help individuals and families, as they watch their dream home come to life!

I'm Kaylie Kleinschmidt, born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa and relocated to Springfield to attend Missouri State University. I graduated from MSU with a degree in Interior Design and a Minor in Construction Management. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dog Renley, antique shopping, and exploring new areas around Springfield. Here at Chelsee Sowder Interior Design I take design concepts and transform them into three dimensional designs to give a realistic approach of what your project will look like. I love being able to see your projects come to life and working with a team that will fulfill all of your needs!

I'm Makenna Harmon and I am from Ozark, MO. I am currently attending Missouri State University and will graduate in the Spring with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and a Minor in Construction Management. I love being outdoors, going to sporting events, shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and loving on my fur babies. I am excited to work with you and help make your dream home a reality!

I was born and raised in Springfield and graduated from Missouri State University with my degree in Interior Design. I love traveling to the mountains and enjoying nature but I also enjoy spending time in my home with my cat Gizmo and a ridiculous amount of candles. I love hosting dinner parties and craft nights with my friends. I would say my personal design taste is an eclectic melting pot. I’m absolutely in love with mid-century design and enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect vintage pieces. On the flip side, I love the simplicity of contemporary design and elegance of traditional design.
